On Tuesday, Canada’s food giant Costco announced that it is expanding into New Brunswick.
Costco, which has over 200 stores in Canada, will open its first new store in the province in the coming months.
The chain has been eyeing New Brunswick for some time, after expanding into the province and expanding into other areas in the U.S. Costco said it would bring its own kitchen, along with an assortment of food items that include fresh and frozen meals.
It will have about 50 new locations in New Brunswick, including a restaurant, a gas station, and a grocery store, and the company said it is looking to bring more new locations to the province by 2020.
This comes as the company has been looking for more than two dozen new locations around the country.
Costco says it has been making significant investments in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and is also planning to expand into other parts of the country in the next few years.
